Technology in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa
How did technology effect the evolution of civilizations in Europe and Africa after the industrial revolutions, and how has that effected those countries in the 21 century?

Interesting premise... You'll need to focus your question/topic. For example, select specific countries to examine and narrow your time period. You could look at how Europeans used steam technology, quinine, and automatic weapons to breach the African interior in the late 19th century.
